Humpback Whale #0759, a female, was first sighted with her calf in on September 22, 2008, swimming in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia. Otto has been seen an additional five times with a calf present in Hervey Bay, including a sighting in 2010 where the Otto and her calf were both observed breaching and it was evident the calf was still figuring out exactly how to propel itself out of the water. In 2016, Otto was sighted again in Hervey Bay, except this time she had no calf and was swimming alone.
